RECANTO
A quiet place you can always return to.
A quiet place you can always return to.
Why RECANTO?
In Portuguese, recanto means a quiet place you can always return to. A sanctuary. Somewhere the noise of the world doesn't reach you.
I grew up near the Brazilian coast, and the beach has always been my recanto. The place where I reset. Where the weight of everything lifts and clarity comes back. That feeling is what I wanted to put into these shirts.
Five colours, each named after something you find at the water's edge. Oceano. Horizonte. Céu. Nuvem. Areia. I kept the names in Portuguese on purpose because the Brazilian identity is not a detail. It is the whole point.
This collection was built to be a stable foundation in your wardrobe and in your day. Not another loud piece competing for attention. A recanto.
The Colours
The RECANTO collection was born from a feeling I carry with me everywhere. Growing up in Brazil, the coast was always my place of return. The beach was where I reset, where clarity came back, where the noise of the world stopped for a moment.
When I sat down to design this collection, I didn't look for trend reports or colour forecasts. I closed my eyes and thought about that coastline. The deep blue of the ocean in the afternoon. The pale sky just before the heat of the day. The turquoise where the water meets the horizon. The soft white of morning light over the water. The warm sand still under your feet hours after you've left.
Five colours. Five feelings. All named in Portuguese, because that coastline belongs to a specific place, a specific language, and a specific part of who I am.
Built with intention.
Every design decision in the RECANTO collection has a reason behind it.
The hem curve was redesigned to be more rounded and anatomical, so the shirt sits naturally on the body without pulling or bunching. It follows your movement instead of fighting it.
The collar stay pocket adds structure to the collar, keeping it crisp and in place through a full day. A collar that holds its shape is the difference between a shirt that looks intentional and one that just looks worn.
The fabric is a structured cotton that holds its form without feeling stiff. Light enough for warm weather, substantial enough to carry the silhouette.
No shortcuts. Every detail is there because it earns its place.
